Crazy About Cricut's Family Friday

Welcome to my first Family Friday as a member of Crazy About Cricut's Famiy Friday Team. I was very excited when I was selected to be on the team since I love love love crafting with my family. Well let's get started....

Of course Halloween is pretty much all about family so here is some of what my family has been up to while in the Halloween Spirit....

Here is a bag my 13yr old and I made for treats for her "BFF's"
We used the bag cut from Tags, Bags, and Boxes and the sentiment from Happy Haunting. The bag was cut at fit to page (12x12)
We then cut the sentiment and shadow at 2.60 height (on the Gypsy)
We used black glitter around the sentiment...and added googlie eyes to the spider. Then we just added a ribbon handle and of course the treats :)

Here is a project I did with my little guy (3yrs old)...we cute out a monster shaped body (free hand but we should have used mini-monsters) on some construction paper and decorated it with what ever we had laying around.Which turned out to be some feathers, pieces of a cut up q-tip for the teeth, marshmellows and googlie eyes for the eyes, and of course a button and a star.

Here is a Halloween slider card I made for my daughter. You can get directions for this on you tube...just search double slider card. It was super easy and super fun since I made this with a very close friend who is like a mother to me.

And of course Halloween is not complete with out a day at the Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Carving

First he browsed through images...

Then he drew his own sketch...

Then he picked out paper...

Then he took about 30 min trying to figure out the Gypsy...

Then he got his mat ready...

Then they watched the cricut cut...

Then he put together his layers...and added some googlie eyes to Elmo...

Birthday Card for Grandma

Here is a my little guy making a birthday card for his Grandma. We cut everything with the Cricut, he picked everything he wanted cut and the colors he wanted to paint it all. He said the dinosaur had to be pink because that's a pretty color for Grandma. He said he had to add jewelry (the pink gem) and he has been loving these googlie eyes lately, seems we put them on almost every project.

And here is his completed project...
